Incidents
- 21 July 2026, Web app and API. About 49 minutes. A configuration mistake during a deployment took the application down. No mail was lost.
Deployments switch between two running copies of the application, which is designed to avoid downtime while we release.
How we measure
- Each service is checked every minute by Oh Dear, an external monitoring service that runs separately from our infrastructure.
- Inbound mail is checked by connecting to our mail server on port 25, the way a sending mail server does.
- The figures come straight from that monitoring. It is the same data as the live status page.
- Until 18 October 2026 our services were checked by our previous, self-hosted monitoring (Uptime Kuma), and the figures include those days. It also counted the moments it lost its own connection as downtime.
- Where a figure covers less than its full period, it shows the date its measurement started.
- If a sending mail server cannot reach us, it queues the message and retries. Short interruptions delay mail; they do not lose it.
Live status
The status page shows the current state of each service, its uptime day by day, and any incident in progress.
